CHAYANNE WILL SING THE SPANISH VERSION OF THE MAIN THEME OF “ATLANTIS – El Imperio Perdido”, THE LATEST PRODUCTION OF WALT DISNEY PICTURES

Buenos Aires, May 3, 2001-- Chayanne, the talented Puerto Rican actor and singer will perform “Donde Va Tu Sueño”, Spanish version of “Where The Dream Takes You”, main theme of the latest animated film production of Walt Disney Pictures, “Atlantis - El imperio Perdido”, which is the story of a thrilling and imaginative journey in search of the lost city of Atlantis, a fascinating and mysterious place submerged in the ocean depths for thousand of years.

This movie will be released all over Latin America during the months of June-July.

The charming music is a valuable contribution of the famed musician and composer James Newton Howard, who created the music for over 65 movies and received five Academy Award nominations. The song was written by James Newton Howard and Diane Warren, and the Spanish lyrics were written by Renato López, Walterio Pesqueira, Manny Benito y Chayanne.

The main theme was recorded in the city of Buenos Aires, where the 35mm music clip of the song entitled: “El Lugar que Sueñas” will be made, with post-production in Los Angeles. This spectacular video will be added to the movie and screened in theaters and all TV channels for full promotion all over Latin America.

Chayanne, who is temporarily residing in Argentina and participating in an Argentine soap opera, accepted with pleasure on the spot to do the recording of the Spanish version of this theme since, in his own words, he is a ´staunch admirer and collector of all Disney movies to fulfill every now and then the wishes of the child we all are at heart´.
