Beginning somewhere in this episode, some of the characters make use of the word “Ché.” I’d like to offer a brief explanation on the meaning of this word. It is simply Argentine Spanish for words like friend/buddy, hey, you, etc. (A couple of examples: 1. ¿Cómo estás, ché? – How are you, my friend? - 2.
Ché, a dónde vas? – Hey, where are you going?. This word is so characteristically Argentine that “Ché” is a common nickname for Argentines in Spanish-speaking countries OUTSIDE Argentina.
