In the November issue of People en Español, famous women voiced their votes for El Hombre Más Sexy for the Year. Erika Buenfil selected Chayanne, "because he is attractive, masculine, virile, and dances divinely. He is a man. He doesn't look like a kid."

The July 11 issue of The National Enquirer's spanish language tabloid Mira! used a photo of Chayanne for their Cancer horoscope. "These days are going to be full of pleasant surprises in love and home life. This is your moment for dancing with the sun in your sign. After your birthday a new life begins, if you have (somebody help me out here). Socialize and (be seen out?).

This looked interesting, it had sections on everything from art to home decor to tourism, and an Internet page, where I found this: "On the page www.chayanne.com the admirers of this singer can find out about his life and career." Only problem is, there's no such site. The domain belongs to a guy named Earl at Cyber Construction Inc. in the Bronx. Note to journalists: type it in to see if it works before you publish it. Or call the office, for crying out loud.
